Pierrick Brocart.

Biography

Pierrick Brocart graduated from a Belgian Design school. He opened his workshop in 1996 and soon after focused on lightning devices. Since early childhood Pierrick’s passion has been turning around the mechanical principles of movement and the balance of forces. His creations are a close combination of choreography of shapes and lightning effects, through use of glass or ceramic material together with innovative solutions based on a structuring steel body, and more recently wood associated to fiber cement. In order to reach this complex equilibrium Pierrick has to handle personally the whole process, from the creation to the making, including the design of specific manufacturing tools. Pierrick lets his clients choose their lightning device according to their favorite daily universe, thus giving them the possibility to use them it in a playful way.
